Expert Advisor for Net Zero Emissions Lending

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a General Manager to develop a strategic plan for net zero emissions lending.

The project involves providing expert advice on global best practices in carbon reduction and decarbonisation by application. You will help the team create relevant choice menus with preliminary costings and pros and cons analysis, as well as injecting perspectives on the likely evolution of solutions, adoption curves, and impact on pricing and effectiveness given improvements in technology.

This role requires a strong ability to collaborate with teams and influence stakeholders, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in decarbonising agricultural sectors, including Livestock; grain; dairy; cotton; poultry, market gardening etc.

Key Deliverables:
  • Providing global case study examples of best in class levers to achieve carbon reduction and decarbonisation by application
  • Helping the team create Australian relevant choice menus with preliminary costings and pros and cons analysis
  • Injecting perspectives on the likely evolution of solutions, adoption curves, and impact on pricing and effectiveness given improvements in technology
Required Skills and Attributes:
  • Influencing people and engaging with teams to receive required inputs and data from colleagues
  • A self-starter with problem-solving abilities, able to work productively quickly and deliver outputs on time while showing initiative in asking probing questions
  • High-level power-point skills
  • Financial services and Agri-sector banking experience is preferred but not required
