Job Description

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Jandakot, Western Australia.

The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking and certification of maintenance on aircraft as directed by the Senior Base Engineer and Maintenance Manager in accordance with operational practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and certification of aircraft in line with operational practice
  • Leading and managing a team

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a CASA Part 66 Category B1.3 License with AW139/B412 type rating preferred; unrestricted license and rating preferred;

Limited requirement to travel to other locations within Western Australia;

Ability to coach, manage and lead a team;

Demonstrated interpersonal and organisational leadership skill-set;

Excellent communication and people management attributes;

Safe manual handling of tooling, equipment and parts;

Highly detailed and task oriented;

Ability to work effectively in a team environment;

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgements;
