Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Job

Seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a full-time B1 Licensed Maintenance Professional. This role is based in Perth and involves performing line maintenance and defect rectification on REX/Pel-Air SAAB aircraft.

This position reports directly to the Senior Base Engineer and requires a valid B1 engine run and taxi approval or willingness to attain one soon.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform line maintenance and defect rectification on REX/Pel-Air SAAB aircraft in Perth.
    • Participate in remote port rescue operations for REX/Pel-Air Perth network aircraft.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrate high-level engineering skills and fault-finding abilities.
  • Possess SAAB 340 knowledge and ability to gain a SAAB type rating.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Display a high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic.
  • Potential to gain multiple type ratings on REX group aircraft.
  • Work a flexible 38-hour week with additional hours as required.
  • Be available for weekend call-outs as needed.
  • Aid RAMP operations and stock control of aircraft parts and tools as required.
