Job Description:

We are seeking an Invoicing Specialist to play a crucial role in our financial operations. As part of this team, you will be responsible for auditing and reconciling invoices, approving vendor invoices, and verifying accuracy by auditing work order materials, labor, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Auditing and reconciling both construction and non-construction invoices using established processes and standards.
  • Approving vendor invoices to ensure compliance with contract provisions, reviewing timesheets, equipment charges, and construction order requirements to facilitate prompt payments.
  • Verifying accuracy by auditing work order materials, labor, and equipment to ensure actual field construction matches vendor's invoiced amounts.
  • Communicating with external stakeholders regarding rejected invoices.
  • Monitoring and tracking the status of post-audit corrections to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Independently resolving invoice issues.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED along with a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Flexibility and dependability in your work schedule.
  • Excellent prioritization skills to manage your workload effectively.

Work Schedule:

This is a 40-hour per week position, Monday through Friday, with core hours of 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (some flexibility with start/end times). This is a hybrid role, requiring three days onsite each week and two days working remotely from home (a client-provided laptop will be supplied).
