Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Drilling Manager to lead our drilling operations, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to drilling teams to ensure safe and efficient operation of rigs and equipment
  • Audit work areas, machinery, and personnel to identify and address gaps or non-compliances, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Collaborate with site management to develop and implement comprehensive training programs on safety procedures and emergency protocols, enhancing team performance
  • Investigate incidents and provide actionable recommendations for improvement, driving positive change
  • Conduct thorough pre-mobilisation inspections of drilling plant and equipment, ensuring optimal condition and readiness

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in drilling safety, particularly on exploration RC and Diamond drilling programs, with a strong track record of success
  • Deep understanding of drilling equipment, procedures, and safety protocols, with a focus on innovation and best practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
