Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to play a key role in Western Australia's first world-class film studio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations, safety, and readiness of the site
  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, manage vendor relationships, and ensure seamless operations
  • Configure and adapt spaces to meet the evolving needs of incoming productions
  • Monitor and optimize EMS, BMS, and related building systems to reduce downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Implement practical, energy-efficient solutions to champion the studio's Sustainability Plan
  • Maintain high standards of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and regulatory compliance across all facilities and contractor work
  • Manage vendor contracts and service delivery while tracking performance and spend
  • Develop and maintain clear emergency response procedures
  • Lead and support a facilities team to maintain excellence in operations
  • Drive innovation and proactive problem-solving in all areas of facilities management

About You:

  • A strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • At least 5 years' experience in facilities or asset management, with proven vendor and budget oversight
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and hands-on technical capability
  • WHS certification or a willingness to obtain one
  • Forklift, Telehandler, EWP/Boom lifts, IPAF (ideally holding or willingness to work towards)
  • Experience in screen, event, or entertainment infrastructure is highly desirable
