About the Role

As a Mechanical Maintainer, your primary responsibilities will include performing inspections and carrying out maintenance duties in the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).

You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure seamless operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine and breakdown maintenance activities
  • Completing allocated preventative maintenance tasks and inspections as assigned
  • Providing timely responses to maintenance issues to ensure targets are met
  • Contributing to production and safety improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A formal Mechanical trade qualification
  • Proven experience in CHPP or other heavy industry settings
  • Excellent communication skills to share knowledge with others and help the team
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Industry-relevant qualifications, including High Risk licenses
  • Strong computer literacy, preferably with an understanding of SAP systems
