Our organization relies on both dragline and load haul systems for continuous operations. As the largest open cut operation in the region, we employ approximately 1450 people who reside in local and surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks- Execute planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and machine rebuilds
- Contribute to the development of technical skills and expertise in Truck, Field, and Mobile equipment maintenance areas
As a Heavy Industry Maintenance Specialist, you will work on a diverse range of OEM fleet including Komatsu, Cat, Hitachi, and NHL Trucks as well as Water Carts, Graders, Track Dozers, Scrapers, Service Trucks, Letourneau Loaders, Liebherr & Hitachi Excavators, P&H 4100XPC Shovels, Draglines, and Drills while working a rotating 4/5 lifestyle roster.
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience in heavy industry
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely in a team environment
- Technical skill in diagnostic problem solving across the Truck, Mobile, and Field fleet
- Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
