Job Title

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, including experience with modern data tools and technologies.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, client-facing role that involves working with clients to deliver bespoke software solutions and expert advice. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building data platforms and pipelines, creating processes to extract or access operational data, and transforming siloed datasets into integrated data models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build well-structured, maintainable systems
  • Develop data pipelines to ingest and transform data
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good experience with modern data engineering tools and technologies
  • Strong software engineering skills, including experience with JavaScript
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative approach to work
Desirable Skills

The following skills would be beneficial:

  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with vendor products such as Snowflake or Data Bricks
