We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our dynamic National Ecology team at Umwelt, a leading environmental consultancy with over three decades of experience. As an Environmental Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across various sectors, including renewables, infrastructure, and resource development.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is based in our Adelaide office, where you will be working alongside experienced professionals who can mentor and support your growth. As an Environmental Consultant, you will have the chance to develop your skills in ecological consulting, surveys, reporting, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ecological assessments and surveys for clients
  • Prepare high-quality reports and recommendations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and fellow team members

Requirements

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in environmental science, botany, zoology, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and undertaking flora and fauna surveys
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
