About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Group Treasury team at Westpac Group. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the strategic management of the Group's balance sheet, ensuring appropriate balance of risk and reward within the risk appetite and strategy set by the Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis activities for all workstreams under the International Infrastructure uplift program.
  • Elicit and document comprehensive business requirements for all initiatives, and act as the owner of the Business Requirements Document.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including technology teams, in the definition of appropriate solutions to deliver required business outcomes.
  • Assist in the formulation of functional specifications / interface mapping, and to provide analysis support to development team during implementation.
  • Perform quality checks on solutions delivered, through undertaking required testing, to ensure business outcomes have been achieved.
  • Lead and manage change to impacted business groups, ensuring appropriate change activities (e.g. training, user guides) have been completed to minimise impacts to Business as Usual (BAU) teams.
  • Comprehensive, in-depth and insightful business analysis outcomes to support the successful delivery of Treasury's initiatives to enable northern hemisphere business growth (e.g. Central Banks Access, US securities clearing mandate, global triparty repo capabilities).
