Job Description:

The ideal candidate will lead our finance function to deliver high-quality financial insights, systems, and processes that drive strategic decisions and operational excellence. This role will involve overseeing cash flow forecasting, treasury, debtor management, and project bonding requirements, as well as managing budgeting and forecasting processes in line with strategic goals.

About the Role:

  • Lead the finance function to deliver accurate and timely financial close, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury, debtor management, and project bonding requirements.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in line with strategic goals.
  • Review and challenge project financial summaries, cost-to-complete forecasts, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain oversight of payroll approvals, controls, and reporting accuracy.
  • Drive process and system improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax, audit, and statutory obligations.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering capability and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CPA or CA qualification (essential).
  • Proven senior finance leadership experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or resources.
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting standards, compliance, and reporting.
  • Track record in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience overseeing payroll, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
