About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Technician to support and operate our existing Waste Water Treatment Plant.

  • Maintain and oversee fixed plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collect and record water samples for analysis, providing accurate data for decision-making purposes.
  • Supervise maintenance corrective procedures to ensure efficient operation of the treatment plant.
  • Adhere to Health Safety Environment Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate fixed plant equipment, including pumps, motors, and control systems.
  • Conduct daily and weekly inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collect and record water samples, maintaining accurate records for analysis and reporting.
  • Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in waste water treatment plant operations.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high-quality work environments and adhering to HSEQ policies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights, if required.
