Senior Business Analyst

We deliver efficiency and innovation for our supply chain network as Australia's leading retail supply chain network. Our platform includes over 40 tools and applications used daily by our distribution and transport team members, including business-critical applications.

We're seeking an experienced Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our dynamic team responsible for exciting projects within the supply chain logistics team.

You will manage a mix of complex and smaller projects involving cross-functional technologies, multiple external parties, and operations business partners while managing resources within the team and other IT areas.

Your stakeholder management skills are exceptional, and you will partner with senior stakeholders to ensure expectations are met or managed appropriately and implement strategies to address complexities.

You will apply critical thinking skills such as analysis, interpretation, inference, open-mindedness, and problem-solving to your approach, solutions, and communication.

As part of the role, you will scope new ideas/projects, work through estimation, delivery planning, and support complex projects spanning multiple business units and IT areas.

You will elicit business requirements and translate these to functional specifications.

You will influence process design to drive efficient business outcomes while leveraging our investment in existing systems through modifying and re-engineering business processes.

Ideally, you have previous experience working across large-scale warehouse management system modernization projects and extensive supply chain logistics experience.

• 5+ years in Senior Business Analyst roles
• Define business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Facilitate business and technical process workshops
• Develop current and future state process models in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Experience in managing relationships with business stakeholders and teams
• Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Translation of business strategies/needs into IT solutions
• Expertise in applicable business processes and applications
• Ability to understand business and IT strategy, environment, and trends across multiple functions
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes
• Ability to leverage and apply business analysis and project methodologies and approaches.
