Overview

Susquehanna's Research team is seeking a highly skilled Equity Analyst to partner with senior analysts and traders to identify investment opportunities. As a key member of the team, you will provide in-depth country and sector-level analysis, leveraging your expertise to inform trading decisions. Your ability to identify catalyst events, perform stock valuation analysis, and collaborate with derivative traders will be essential in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on stocks and sectors, identifying key drivers and trends
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of financial markets, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and forex
  • Collaborate with traders to develop investment ideas and strategies
  • Provide real-time analysis and opinions on breaking news and market developments
  • Evaluate special situations, such as mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate actions
  • Travel to company events and conferences as required

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in finance or a related field
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline from a reputable institution
  • Prior experience in fundamental company research and analysis
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Familiarity with trading environments and derivative products
  • Working knowledge of major asset classes
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, effective communicator, and resourceful problem-solver
