Post Anesthesia Care Registered Nurse Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiac anesthesia to join our dynamic team at St Vincent's Health Australia.

This role involves providing exceptional care to patients in the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring a safe and smooth recovery from anesthesia.

About the Role:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in theatres environment as a Registered Nurse is required
  • Minimum 12 months experience in PACU, facilitating patient recovery and care coordination
  • Working with Children check and current AHPRA Registration (no restriction) essential
  • Collaboration with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all nursing interventions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration
