Job Title: Insider Threat and Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Insider Threat and Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for conducting fused intelligence analysis in an insider threat context.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives by working in a socially inclusive and culturally diverse workplace. You will be part of a team that supports over 600,000 Australians with a significant and permanent disability, and their families and carers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting fused intelligence analysis in an insider threat context.
  • Assisting in the management and uplift of policy, doctrine, process and governance of the Insider Threat capability.
  • Conducting vulnerability and behavioural analysis, providing security intelligence advice about the Insider Threat capability.
  • Conducting active liaison with internal and external partners, influencing and reducing the Agency's risk exposure.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in intelligence, cyber security, investigation, or similar roles. Intelligence and/or security qualifications are also essential. Additionally, you will need to have initiative appropriate to level, effective time management skills, and independent thinking.

You will also need to have analytical approach to problem solving, ability to present intelligence findings through written and verbal communication to a high standard, and a background or experience in the application of intelligence and knowledge of the intelligence cycle.

Clearance Requirements:

Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Clearance, undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
