Horse trail guides play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of horse riders on trails. As a farmhand with expertise in leading groups of riders through various terrain, including hills, forests, and open fields, you will be responsible for executing numerous duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their skill level and preferences for trail rides
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is available and in good condition
  • Lead groups of riders through designated trails, providing clear instructions and guidance
  • Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all riders
  • Perform daily farm duties, such as feeding and grooming horses, as required
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with horse riding and handling
  • Knowledge of equine behavior and body language
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and outdoor work

This is an ongoing casual basis, weekend work is required. Possessing a car is essential as public transport is not available to the work site. Horse shoeing experience would be desirable but not mandatory.
