Our pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail pharmacy.
You will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, processing sales, handling point-of-sale transactions accurately, and maintaining stock levels. You will also assist in preparing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist and ensure the pharmacy is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
We are looking for a candidate with strong customer service skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process sales and handle point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Assist in preparing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Maintain stock levels by unpacking orders, restocking shelves, and rotating stock.
- Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
