About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Integration Specialist to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing complex integration solutions using world-leading technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion industry best practice, solutions, and technologies to drive technical innovation and excellence.
  • Design and implement complex integration platforms and solutions using REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, and Java.
  • Drive the technical vision for complex programs of work and platform architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to propose and implement best practice technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of robust ways of working, including the implementation of Agile practices.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in large enterprise organisations, with a strong background in integration platforms like IBM ACE/MQ, Mulesoft, and Pentaho.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Agile and Lean approaches, with a strong understanding of application and API security and privacy controls.
  • Experience with planning, designing, and deploying on-prem and cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and deployments, migrations, network, and security frameworks.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ETL capabilities, with experience in deriving solutions that use REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, and Java.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Team City, and knowledge of multi-tenancy architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance practices and methodologies as applied to integrated solutions.
