As an Enrolled Nurse in our Cardiothoracic/ Cardiology ward, you will provide safe and effective nursing care to patients using an individualised holistic approach. This role offers a good mix of fast-paced surgical and medical Nursing, with opportunities for professional development and postgraduate studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients under the direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Consult with the Registered Nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with your level of competence and within Local Health District (LHD) policy.
- Administer medications and perform other nursing tasks as required.
You will work in a collaborative environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and patients to deliver high-quality patient care. We encourage people of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background to apply.
Requirements:- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Current experience in an acute hospital environment, including examples of current clinical knowledge and critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
