About the Role
The Fire Safety Specialist will be responsible for responding to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities, and developing and maintaining competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses. You will also operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment, contribute to incident reporting and general station administration, and promote a positive team approach in all work activities.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must have Australian Permanent Resident Status, a Manual C Class driver's licence, and be willing to commit to attending 50% of calls as a day worker with routine hours or 30% of calls as a shift worker or non-routine hours. You must also obtain an MRV licence within 12 months of employment and participate in ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs. Additionally, you must comply with QFES policies and procedures, including code of conduct, safety, and personal presentation standards.

Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
