Warehouse Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse leadership, with experience in managing teams, developing operational strategies, and driving continuous improvement. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Suitable candidates will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control, and shipping/receiving procedures. They will also have knowledge of safety protocols and be committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
As a Warehouse Operations Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. You will lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, and promoting a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.

About the Role:
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve warehouse performance and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective communication and supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar WMS systems.
