We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Household Coordinator in our residential aged care facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating household operations and enhancing daily living experiences for residents.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a Household Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating Household Operations: Manage daily routines, including resident personal care and medication administration, as required.
  • Facilitating Individual Activities: Plan and implement activities that cater to the diverse interests, hobbies, and preferences of our residents.
  • Serving as a Link: Provide support and guidance to residents, families, and other roles within the home.
  • Coordinating Daily Living Experiences: Ensure that each resident's needs and preferences are met through tailored daily activities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our residents, families, and colleagues to provide high-quality care and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Completion of Cert III or IV: In aged care, enrolled nursing, independent support, frontline management, or similar.
  • Demonstrated Experience: In at least one area of personal care, leisure and lifestyle, hospitality, or nursing.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
