Emergency Department Registrar

Work as an ED Registrar/PHO within a busy emergency department that is the main referral hospital for the region. The local area has a population of approximately 250,000 and the department handles around 47,000 attendances each year with an admission rate of 25%. This core component of work includes trauma and resuscitation along with the management of routine emergency/urgent patient presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality emergency care to patients with a wide range of conditions.
  • Working closely with other medical teams to ensure seamless communication and care delivery.
  • Managing complex cases and making informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

Requirements:

  • IMG with 10+ years postgraduate experience via STTP
  • ACEM Assessed doctors
