Strategic Learning Advisor

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting teachers, fostering collaboration, and driving improved student outcomes. The Primary Learning Leader will track student progress, inform instructional adjustments, and promote literacy and numeracy strategies across curriculum areas.

The successful candidate will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience, including mentoring, coaching, and advising teachers on classroom pedagogy and planning. Strong data analysis skills, experience in promoting literacy and numeracy strategies, and knowledge of formative assessments will be essential in guiding curriculum decisions and improving student learning.

This position requires:

• Mentoring, coaching and advising teachers on classroom pedagogy and planning
• Strong data analysis skills to track student progress and inform instructional adjustments, inclusive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student progress
• Experience in promoting and facilitating literacy and numeracy strategies across curriculum areas
• Expertise in using formative assessments to guide curriculum decisions and improve student learning
• Knowledge of literacy and numeracy strategies across various curriculum areas to support teachers

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers
