Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated music professional to join our team as a Secondary Music Teacher.

About the Role:

As a teacher in a Catholic school, you play a unique role in ensuring each child has the opportunity to grow academically and spiritually, and live purposeful lives. You will promote the school as a place of learning and excellence, aligning with contemporary evidence-based learning and wellbeing principles, including digital learning, and ensure ongoing development and implementation of pedagogical practices that impact on student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate a clear understanding of and commitment to Catholic Education and support the school's ethos and culture.
  • Effectively utilise assessment and relevant school data to optimise organisational and educational outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
  • Employ an innovative and agile mindset to enhance a culture of continuous improvement within the school environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher.
  • Active accreditation with the National Educator Accreditation Board (NESA).
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check number.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
  • Completion of CPR training.
