Role Overview

Marcellin College invites a seasoned educator to lead our Music Department as a Director of Music Programs.

">

The Director of Music will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the classroom Music Program, the Instrumental Program, and the College Instrumental and Choral Ensembles.

">

The successful candidate will make a significant contribution to the liturgical life of the College and be an active member of the Faith and Mission team.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Plan and implement the Classroom Music and Instrumental Programs">
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Principal - Faith and Mission to ensure music has an integral role in the liturgical celebrations of the College">
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cocurricular music program with the Directors of Learning">
  • Support and promote the vision and goals of the College as a faith learning community founded on the Gospels and Marist Charism">
  • Drive a collaborative culture of quality learning, student and staff growth, and academic excellence aligned with the College's Catholic ethos and Marist Spirituality">
  • Model excellent teaching practices while building the capabilities of our learners through evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning">
