Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our dynamic People Services team in Adelaide, SA or Mt Waverley, VIC.

In this newly created role, you will provide valuable insights on proactive payroll analytics and data investigations to ensure compliance with our Enterprise Agreements, policies, and legislation - identifying root causes and informing corrective actions.

This opportunity includes access to formal and informal training to expand your skills, health and wellbeing initiatives, hybrid work arrangements, and free parking available for the days you are in the office if located in Mt Waverley.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leveraging your payroll knowledge to understand the analytics and compliance requirements, you will investigate and resolve complex payroll queries.
  • You will perform pro-active payroll analytics to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Enterprise Agreements, and policies.
  • Extract, analyse, and interpret large sets of data, identifying anomalies, root cause(s), and corrective actions.
  • Calculate pay adjustments and back payments and advise payroll on such amendments following a thorough payroll investigation.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to mitigate future risk.
  • Create and provide value-add payroll insights to customers to assist with business decision making.
  • Provide operational support to the Senior Payroll Officer role with planned and unplanned leave and busy periods performing end-to-end weekly and fortnightly payroll processing.
