We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team at Toowoomba Residential Aged Care. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities- Deliver personalized care and support to residents, including assisting with daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, enhancing their overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided, ensuring confidentiality and respect for residents' rights.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Qualified Applicants).
- Experience in aged care or a genuine passion for working with the elderly.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to providing care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of and commitment to maintaining residents' rights and privacy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
