Store Manager Accelerator Program

This program is designed for high potential candidates who wish to accelerate their progression into a Store Manager role. The program offers hands-on practical learning through store placements, shadowing opportunities, self-paced and facilitator-led training, mentoring, and coaching.

The program aims to increase the level of female representation in leadership roles in our stores and achieve substantive equality for women in leadership roles at Coles over time.

Successful candidates will be appointed as a Store Manager leading one of our supermarkets upon completion of the program. They will have significant P&L accountability and the opportunity to stretch their leadership capability as they manage upwards of 100+ employees.

Candidates should have experience working in a retail environment and possess commercial nous, a passion for developing others, and the drive to make a real difference to their local community.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, energetic, and perceptive with the ability to delegate to team leaders to deliver key commercial outcomes.

They should also have experience in full accountability for a P&L and for leading large, high-performing teams.
