Capital Governance Role Overview

This pivotal role embeds capital governance across the Group, integrating strategic oversight, project management excellence, and asset risk management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and asset maintenance philosophies, exceptional communication skills, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate annual budgeting process, working closely with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to develop and submit the budget for approval.
  • Maintain five-year capital plan and ensure projects align with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee capital approval workflows and ensure compliance with governance protocols and efficiency in approvals process.
  • Provide commercial and financial insights throughout budgeting and project lifecycle.
  • Develop and enforce asset risk management standards and practices in collaboration with plant managers and subject matter experts.

Additional responsibilities include providing project management and reporting support, collaborating with Engineering and Operations teams to maintain and enhance project management tools and methodologies, monitoring capital spend against budget, identifying variances, and managing associated risks.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related field is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management are required.
  • Proven experience in capital governance, project management, and financial analysis within manufacturing environment.
