Role Overview

The Neighbourhood Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading a team of Support Workers and Volunteers to deliver high-quality services, enabling clients to maintain their independence at home while fostering connections within their local community.

This position ensures the development and maintenance of robust professional relationships between clients and their teams, with the Coordinator serving as the central point of contact.

They are responsible for overseeing service coordination to navigate relevant support based on individual client needs.

About You

  • You hold a Diploma or Bachelor qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Aged Care or Healthcare), or Certificate qualifications with relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years' experience in supervising a team, nurturing them through ambiguity and change.
  • Significant understanding of client needs, converting them into positive service delivery outcomes.
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage resources.
  • Confident in building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for social change and contributing to an organisation influencing vulnerable members of the community.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Current driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
