About the Role:

As a Commercial Construction Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and lead a team of Project Managers in overseeing multiple commercial projects concurrently. You will refine and implement procedures to drive efficiencies and standards across the division, while collaborating with design and tendering teams to ensure best practice constructability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple projects from award through to handover, ensuring quality, program, budgets, and safety are prioritized.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor an established delivery team, fostering a culture of success and growth.
  • Drive project success by leveraging your expertise in quality, program, budget, and safety management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial construction, with a relevant trade background or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial and industrial projects, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience working on projects within the commercial, industrial, healthcare, and education sectors is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and lead by example.
  • Strong multitasking, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional costings, budgeting, forecasting, and programming skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
