Expert Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished veterinary surgeon to lead our small animal surgery department.

  • Teaching and Clinical Service:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in small animal surgery to undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary students, focusing on hands-on training and clinical expertise.
  • Supervise final-year students, interns, and residents in the Small Animal Surgery Unit, ensuring excellence in patient care and surgical outcomes.
  • Forge strong partnerships with industry professionals and organizations to enhance the veterinary program.
  • Contribute to leadership, curriculum development, and continuous improvement of the veterinary program.

About You:

  • Veterinary degree registrable in Queensland or eligible for registration.
  • A postgraduate qualification in small animal surgery or equivalent specialist training, such as MANZCVS, FANZCVS, Dipl. ECVS, or ACVS.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and supervision in a veterinary hospital setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
