Food Insecurity Research Assistant

We are seeking a Research Assistant to support a collaborative research project examining food insecurity in Eastern Nova Scotia and community food assistance programs.
The successful candidate will assist with arranging focus groups, attend each group, record the sessions, take notes, produce written transcripts of the sessions, review and revise the transcripts to ensure accuracy, contribute to coding and sensemaking of collected data, participate in working group meetings, look for potential improvements and implement solutions, maintain quality, safety and confidentiality, and portray New Dawn in a positive manner.
This is an opportunity to work on a meaningful project that makes a difference in people's lives. If you are passionate about social sciences, have experience working with vulnerable populations, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
