Job Summary

As an Environmental and Health Risk Analyst with Cummins Inc., you will provide technical support on health, safety and environmental to production and site personnel under the guidance of the HSE leaders. You will assist in the review and sustainability of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

About the Role

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supporting the Environment and Sustainability Leader APAC in executing the Asia Pacific goal tree and work program, as well as supporting the Asia Pacific HSE team.
  • Assisting in reporting any work-related injury, illness, HSE incident or hazard through internal reporting processes.
  • Gathering data for the analysis of HSE related trends and performance.
  • Assisting in delivery of HSE objectives and targets.
  • Coordinating HSE training and assisting training facilitators.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:

  • Gathering evidence relating to HSE incidents by participating in investigations to define the root cause of events.
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying and evaluating hazards within the work environment.
  • Demonstrating self-awareness.
  • Collaborating: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Action Oriented: Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with high energy and enthusiasm.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you will need to:

  • Be currently studying a Bachelor degree in applied sciences or similar.
  • Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2025.
  • Be available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.
