With over 65 years of experience, we operate an extensive national logistics network covering regional communities. Our company specializes in temperature-sensitive freight and provides services to major grocery distribution centers across Australia.

We employ over 1400 individuals, with approximately 35% based in regional Australia. Our team handles over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year nationwide.

The Role

This position is based out of Acacia Ridge. This site experiences high traffic throughout a 24-hour period.

Duties

  • Follow emergency procedures and communicate with emergency services
  • Ensure compliance with driver paperwork and loads
  • Manage vehicles entering and leaving the site
  • Monitor temperatures of refrigerated trailers and trucks
  • Respond to security breaches
  • Address medical emergencies as needed
  • Conduct camera patrols to maintain site safety
  • Patrol and protect the site
  • Enforce site rules at all times
  • Work on a rotating schedule that includes night shifts and weekends
  • Maintain regular communication with drivers, operational staff, and managers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar position or industry
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
  • A current First Aid Certificate (desired)
  • A current Security License with Unarmed and Monitoring modules
  • A valid driver's license
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
