Surgical Innovation Specialist

This role is ideal for someone with a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation. As a key partner, you will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using Stryker's Mako system.
Surgical Expertise
You will be the primary expert for the Mako system, providing real-time support during procedures and working closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes. Your expertise will include:
- Serving as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
- Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
- Conducting pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
- Maintaining a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
- Providing ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
