Job Title: Medical Device Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Engineer to join our team at Griffith University's Biorheology Research Laboratory. The successful candidate will lead quality systems implementation, supervise device appraisal, and develop test systems to facilitate potential regulatory approval of novel technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supervise device appraisal and testing to ensure safety and efficacy
- Design and develop test systems to mimic realistic physiological-use scenarios
Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent qualifications/work experience in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
- Experience working with medical devices or mechanical systems, including systems design, prototyping, validation, and data analysis
- Knowledge of regulations and industry standards for medical device development, including ISO
