Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Temporary Works Coordinator to join our project team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project, transforming lives and shaping cities and communities.

The Temporary Works Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the safe planning, design, implementation, and dismantling of temporary works on-site. They will act as a link between the design team and site operations, mitigating risks and ensuring project efficiency.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage all temporary works activities on the construction site
  • Ensure that all temporary works designs are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Review and approve temporary works designs and ensure they meet project requirements
  • Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of temporary works activities
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures for temporary works
  • Monitor the installation, use, and dismantling of temporary works to ensure compliance with approved designs and safe working practices
  • Provide technical advice and support to project teams regarding temporary works
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including records of temporary works activities and compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Proven experience with large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in road, rail, or bridge construction
  • Strong understanding of temporary works activities and their associated risks
  • Ability to collaborate with site staff and provide project updates in daily meetings
  • Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as engineering, engineering science, building, or construction
