Senior Maintenance Professional

A role has become available for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance of mechanical infrastructure in our Plant. This is an opportunity to develop and deliver predictive and preventative maintenance strategies, shutdown scopes, and life cycle plans in collaboration with stakeholders.

This position is accountable for ensuring the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of mechanical assets by managing facilities and service providers to achieve these maintenance targets in line with operational requirements.

To succeed in this role, proactive and innovative thinking is required, including management and other departments to drive plant reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset life to lower production costs.

• Develop and deliver predictive and preventative maintenance strategies, shutdown scopes, and life cycle plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage facilities and service providers to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely maintenance outcomes.
• Drive plant reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset life to lower production costs.
• Provide effective governance, communication, and risk management to support operational targets.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven commitment to health, safety, and environmental outcomes.
• Maintenance management experience in heavy industry.
• Strong project, change management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, sharing best practices across sites.
