Rehabilitation Counsellor/ Provisional Psychologist

As a Provisional Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing the physical, psychological, social, environmental, and organisational risk factors that impact an individual's ability to return to work. You will provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance.
- Return to Work Case Management: You will complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
- Assessments and Interventions: You will provide assessments, such as Initial Needs Assessments, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, and Vocational Assessments, and deliver interventions, well-being programs, training, and upskilling.
- Collaboration and Liaison: You will collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical, and other allied health professionals.
- Professional Registration: You must be registered with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or a Registered Psychologist, or hold ASORC full or associate membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
- Current Drivers' Licence: You must have a current drivers' licence and access to your own transport.
- Police or Working with Children Check: You must be able to obtain a police or working with children check.
