About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit at Gosford Hospital.
As a vital member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients and lead fellow nursing staff in delivering quality healthcare.
- Key Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure positive health outcomes for patients.
- You will coordinate care effectively, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, engage in accurate documentation and reporting using relevant electronic systems, ensuring compliance with legal and care standards.
- Your commitment to continuous improvement and professional development will also play a critical role in enhancing the quality of care we provide.
About You:
- You have a current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 2 years Critical Care/Acute Care experience.
- You have a solid understanding of team nursing, with proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- You have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, along with proficiency in using information technology to enhance patient care.
