Strategic Communications Specialist

**Job Summary:**

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to provide expert support in creating and delivering integrated communications strategies and programs.

About the Role:

  • This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective communication plans, ensuring seamless execution of enterprise-wide, divisional, and functional communication initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for various channels and formats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans, incorporating media relations, content creation, divisional comms, and CEO comms team collaboration.
  • Manage digital content for corporate communications, including video production, web-content creation, and social media management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop targeted communication solutions.
  • Project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying insights to enhance communication effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Professional Communication, Public Relations, or relevant Arts discipline.
  • Excellent communication planning skills, with experience in crafting compelling content for various channels and formats.
  • Video production skills, including narrative creation, storyboarding, filming, and editing.
  • Web-content creation, including social media post creation, campaign development, and webpage design.
  • Project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Business acumen, with the ability to quickly understand issues and respond accordingly.
