Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel products
  • Diagnose and repair complex engine issues
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and components
  • Engage in engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies

Required Qualifications

  • Hold a mechanical trade qualification as a heavy diesel mechanic, light vehicle mechanic, or plant mechanic
  • Gain experience in servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products, with preference for Cummins engines
  • Possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge
  • Display solid diagnostic capabilities with computer systems
  • Demonstrate a focus on safety
