Southern Bushland Repair (SBR) is an award-winning specialist in large-scale revegetation projects.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecological Restoration Manager to join our team. As an integral member of the SBR crew, you will assist the Project Manager in implementing large-scale revegetation projects throughout South-Western Sydney and the Illawarra.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established client base, including major companies in the retail, landscape, and wholesale markets. Your key focus areas will be:

  • Site preparation: Assist the Project Manager in preparing sites for planting works, ensuring effective erosion control and irrigation systems are in place.
  • Weed management and routine maintenance: Implement weed control measures and maintain project sites to preserve the quality of work.
  • Team coordination and leadership: Lead a small team of revegetators, prioritizing tasks, structuring workflow, and coordinating efforts to meet project deadlines.
  • Reporting: Regularly report to the Project & General Manager on project progress and site maintenance.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in bush revegetation works is desirable but not essential. You will also require excellent health and fitness, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
