The OpportunityWe're seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a crucial role in enabling strong risk management in decision-making and positioning the fund to take opportunities in support of our Strategic Business Plan.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting risk assessments to support critical business decisions and ensuring a timely response to emerging incidents.
- Creating and managing the Delivery & Information risk profile in alignment with our Enterprise Risk Frameworks.
- Coordinating and facilitating Audit activities aligned with our Assurance Map, including managing and responding to audit findings.
- Tracking relevant risk and compliance policy changes impacting your area and delivering initiatives that coordinate with those changes.
- Overseeing compliance management activities, ensuring obligations managed by the assigned area are controlled appropriately.
- Facilitating regular measurement and monitoring of the D&I risks through management insights provided into Business Unit leadership.
We're looking for an individual with significant demonstrable professional experience in risk management and/or audit, preferably in superannuation, financial services, or financial advice. You'll have a strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework governing the superannuation, funds management, financial advice, or financial services industry.
Key skills and experience include:
- Experience in working with technology or in a technology field is preferred.
- Strong risk management and/or audit experience, with significant demonstrable professional experience.
- Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework governing the superannuation, funds management, financial advice, or financial services industry.
- Experience in coordinating and facilitating Audit activities is preferred.
