Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Performance and Institutional Research team as an Institutional Research Cadet. As part of this role, you will receive on-the-job training and participate in data analysis, problem-solving, and research activities.

The successful candidate will work full-time and receive generous study leave during academic sessions to attend lectures, tutorials, and exams. You will also enjoy all the benefits of being an employee of ANU, including a friendly and inclusive work environment, generous recreational and personal leave provisions, and opportunities for career progression.

This is a three-year, fixed-term appointment open to students with at least two years to complete the remainder of their studies. Your degree must include study or skill development in one of the following areas: Business, Economics, Statistics, Management, Information Science, or Data Analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of credit-average study towards a degree at the Australian National University;
  • An Australian Residency or a valid Australian work permit;
