Job Opportunity: HVAC Specialist

We seek a skilled and experienced HVAC specialist to contribute to our daily operations. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently, with a focus on maintaining comfortable environmental temperatures in all office facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are properly maintained
  • Clean the evaporator drain pans, coils, and filters regularly
  • Lubricate fan and motor bearings as needed
  • Repair and replace motors, electrical wiring, belts, compressors, thermostats, fans, floating elements, and defrost timers
  • Perform routine inspections and overhauls of refrigeration systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults and replace defective components
  • Maintain steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil, and chilled water compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, and gauges, as well as copper lines
  • Review drawings and specifications that identify job requirements, and a layout of reference points for installation
  • Analyze major malfunctions and breakdowns of heating and air conditioning systems, then troubleshoot to identify the cause
  • Adjust and test refrigeration systems, and fill systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks
  • Track and calculate daily utility consumption
  • Inspect and maintain BMS HVAC system

Requirements:

  • Certificate of proficiency in Air Conditioning Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Minimum three years of highly relevant work experience in a service industry
